The Rockets' front office has been busy this offseason already.
Trading for Kevin Durant was the notable move, but they also were able to secure Fred VanVleet and Jabari Smith on long-term deals.
VanVleet's newly constructed contract gives the Rockets to ability to add another impactful player to their roster, which could be one of these three players.

Who is Houston looking to add?
According to NBA reporter Kelly Iko, the Rockets will be holding meetings with Dorian Finney-Smith, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Luke Kennard as free agency starts.
The Rockets have a lot of youth on their roster, so adding one of these three veteran players could be another step in the direction of a championship.
The price points on these players might vary.

For example, Alexander-Walker is expected to receive interest from other teams and just came off a great playoff run with the Timberwolves.
He's much younger than Kennard and Finney-Smith, so he could get a better offer from another team that Houston can't afford to match.
Finney-Smith has bounced around the league and is a viable option for Houston.

Finney-Smith seems less likely to return to the Lakers since they are searching for help in other areas of their roster this offseason.
Kennard dropped in production last season, but is a great three-point shooter and veteran who can be a valuable off-the-bench asset for the Rockets.
Deals in free agency will start being announced at 6:00 P.M. EST on Monday.
