The Chicago Bulls have made plenty of changes over the past few years, and that doesn’t seem likely to change any time soon.

The Bulls are one of a few teams in the league that have seemingly been stuck in the middle of the pack for far too long. With only three playoff wins in the past 10 seasons, the Bulls have struggled to even get close to reaching the standard of basketball in Chicago.

While the days of Michael Jordan and even Derrick Rose are firmly in the rear-view mirror, the Bulls must find a way to get back to the top of the Eastern Conference. Although next season won’t feature a contending Bulls team, it could certainly go a long way in shaping the next one.

Time to make some deals

The Bulls are one of a few teams in the league that have had their offseason held up by a restricted free agent. While Josh Giddey’s contract situation has held Chicago back this offseason, that could translate to an active regular season in the trade market.

In a recent article from Athlon, Nathaniel Holloway named Kevin Huerter as a potential trade piece for the Bulls next season. Acquired from the Sacramento Kings last season, Huerter’s shooting ability could help the Bulls grab a solid package from a contender next season, as Holloway noted.

Although the Bulls could definitely use some shooting on the roster, Huerter simply doesn’t fit the timeline, and if dealing him could net the Bulls some draft capital or an intriguing young player, Chicago has to bite.
