The New York Yankees are routinely one of baseball’s most popular teams in terms of fan attendance, and that sentiment rings true once again in 2025.

According to a report from WSCR-AM’s Bruce Levine, the Yankees have ranked amongst the top five most attended teams this season. Specifically, the Yankees are second behind the Los Angeles Dodgers with an average of 42,464 attendees, per ESPN. The Dodgers lead baseball by a wide margin with 49,536 average attendees.

The Yankees were also second in league attendance in 2024 with an average attendance of 41,896. Despite losing Juan Soto in the offseason, the Yankees have actually increased their attendance marginally in 2025.

Make no mistake about it, the Yankees are one of the largest draws in all of sports. Outfielder — and captain — Aaron Judge continues to be one of the greatest players of this generation. This season, he is slashing an incredible .326/.451/.672 with 49 home runs and 105 RBIs. Additionally, the Yankees are firmly in hold of the first Wild Card spot in the American League, and figure to be one of the favorites to head back to the World Series this postseason.

With the season coming to a close, the Yankees will look to finish strong, and embark on a deep run in the postseason in front of their home fans.
