United States Grand Prix: Charles Leclerc

Max Verstappen had taken sprint pole and the win earlier in the weekend, but after the Dutchman forced title rival Lando Norris wide at the first turn, Charles Leclerc dominated at the Circuit Of The Americas, leading Carlos Sainz to a Ferrari one-two.

Verstappen finished in third, keeping Lando Norris at bay after the British driver earned a five-second time penalty for overtaking the Red Bull driver off the track.

Mexico City Grand Prix: Carlos Sainz

The back-to-back Americas races were the zenith of Ferrari's 2024, given that Carlos Sainz stood on the top step of the podium, the week after.

Having taken his sole pole position of season, on the Saturday, the Ferrari driver relinquished the lead at the expense of Max Verstappen. But he won it back in a matter of laps, and kept the advantage throughout.

Verstappen, whose balance, grip and speed limitations threw him out of contention, cost Lando Norris a heap of time, after he forced the British driver off the track on a couple of occasions.

And despite the McLaren driver's searing end-of-race pace, Sainz was always a step ahead and won both his and Ferrari's last grand prix to date.

Sao Paulo Grand Prix: Max Verstappen

Starting in the Sao Paolo deluge from 17th place, Max Verstappen carved his way ever closer to the front, with a series of gutsy late-braking overtakes.

Then, when the rain fell harder and Franco Colapinto's Williams thundered into the barriers, the red flag was brought out and rewarded drivers who had not pitted under the initial safety car.

That included Verstappen who took the race lead, from Esteban Ocon, during the following safety car restart. He then posted a series of fastest laps, won by nearly 20 seconds and secured a drive instantly heralded as one of the sport's greats.

Las Vegas Grand Prix: George Russell

Cool track temperatures, less energy put through the tyres and a smooth surface, these are the key traits to Mercedes race-winning success in recent years. Hence, the Silver Arrows dominated and George Russell converted pole position into the race win.

Qatar Grand Prix: Max Verstappen

Demoted from pole position, Max Verstappen captured the lead back with a daring pass on polesitter George Russell. From there, the race was controlled by him, despite a whole heap of pressure being applied by Lando Norris, who was latterly relegated down the order, thanks to a yellow flag infringement.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: Lando Norris

Securing McLaren's first constructors' championship since 1998, Lando Norris crucially started from the front and finished there, ahead of the Ferrari pair of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.

Although the gap was never mighty, Norris could just about pull away from Carlos Sainz's Ferrari, and took the chequered flag just under six second before the Spaniard.
