Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has signed a new contract that will keep him at Molineux until 2030, just over two months after making his move from Celta Vigo permanent.
According to BBC Sport, the 25-year-old Norway international has agreed a five-year deal with an option for a further season.
The extension comes after Wolves rejected bids in the region of £50m and £55m from Newcastle United over the summer.
Stand Larsen joined Wolves for £23m in July after a successful loan spell last term, during which he netted 14 goals across all competitions, helping the Midlands club secure survival in the Premier League.
Following his impressive campaign, the striker has now pen to paper on a permanent deal.
He has scored twice so far this season, both in Wolves’ EFL Cup win over West Ham United, but has missed their last two games as he nurses an Achilles injury.

Pereira hails striker’s commitment
The news of Strand Larsen’s renewal follows another important piece of business at Molineux, with head coach Vitor Pereira also signing a new three-year contract on Thursday (September 18).
Following his own renewal, the Wolves boss believes Strand Larsen’s commitment is “very good news” for the club.
“If we want to take a step to be on another level, we need players like Larsen, because it's not only about his tactical and technical ability, it's about his spirit and personality,” Pereira said.
“He is very important for us and it’s very good news for the club.”
Although sidelined at present, the Norwegian clearly remains central to Wolves’ long-term plans, with the club seeing him as a leader in attack as they look to build for the future.
“More years at Wolves is perfect for me. The club is happy and I am happy. I love my teammates and the fans are amazing.”

Strand Larsen on his new deal
Strand Larsen himself expressed his delight at securing his future at Molineux, believing that it is the right place for him.
“I’ve been incredibly happy here at Wolves,” he said upon announcement of his new deal.
“Signing a new deal shows that my commitment is here, I’m happy here, I love all my friends and teammates, the fans are amazing, and we just want to make it a better season than last year.”
The striker reiterated that the move benefits all parties and is now just focusing on his return to fitness.
“I’ve signed a new deal, more years at Wolves, which is perfect for me. The club’s happy, I’m happy myself, so I’m ready to get back on the pitch now.
“The most important thing for me is to come back to the pitch and for us to start winning and get out of the bad start we had.”
Wolves currently sit bottom of the table after four straight defeats but will hope to get their first points on the board when they host Leeds United on Saturday (September 20), though it remains unclear at present whether Strand Larsen will be fit enough to feature.
