Since Ivan Toney left Brentford for the Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, he has been out of the picture with England.
Toney has played just two minutes for Thomas Tuchel's side, which came in a defeat to Senegal in a friendly.
The striker has not been involved in Tuchel's last two squads, but England could need him at the World Cup next summer.
Harry Kane missed the match against Wales due to injury, whilst his replacement Ollie Watkins had to come off at half time after hurting himself during a goalscoring opportunity.
Watkins then missed the World Cup qualifier against Latvia, where Harry Kane scored a brace in a 5-0 victory that secured England's place at the tournament in North America next summer.
Watkins and Kane were the only recognised center-forwards in the recent England squad. Both are injury-prone, so a place for Toney could become available.

What must Ivan Toney do to play for England again?
Toney has had success for Al-Ahli, where he has scored 38 goals in 54 games. The striker has also won the AFC Champions League Elite and the Saudi Super Cup.
However, the standard of the Saudi Pro League is often deemed not to be competitive enough when it comes to representing your country.
The former Brentford player may need to return to the Premier League to force his way back into Tuchel's plans.
Football Insider has reported that "West Ham are interested in Man United’s Joshua Zirkzee as an option to strengthen up front in the mid-season window.
"However, Ivan Toney has now emerged as a key contender for the position, having been linked with a return to England following his spell in Saudi Arabia."
West Ham United needs a new striker as Niclas Fullkrug got himself injured again during the international break.
Fullkrug and West Ham's other striker, Callum Wilson, are both now in their thirties. Toney is not far off, being 29, and it remains to be seen if he can still cut it in the Premier League after playing in Saudi Arabia.
However, he would be playing with a point to prove to make it to the World Cup. Toney's style of play would also suit Nuno Espirito Santo's philosophy of football.
