Following West Ham United's abysmal start to the Premier League season, you could not blame Lucas Paqueta for wanting to leave.
Aston Villa were reportedly interested in the Brazilian as they look to strengthen their side to compete in European competition as well this campaign.
However, after scoring in West Ham's surprise 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, Paqueta sent a clear message to his supporters.
The player mimicked throwing away a phone before kissing the West Ham badge on his shirt.
Potter also dismissed talk of Paqueta leaving, being quoted on Sky Sports saying, "It's external noise, that's what it is."

After losing their opening two Premier League games, there were fears that West Ham would be in a relegation battle this season.
Credit must go to the club for addressing their problems by signing two midfielders, Mateus Fernandes and Soungoutou Magassa.
Fernandes, who joined from Southampton, was particularly impressive against Forest.
Potter changed West Ham's system to four at the back with Fernandes coming in for Nayef Aguerd. The Hammers looked far more composed than they did against Sunderland and Chelsea.
We now head into an international break, which comes at a bad time, as West Ham would have wanted to build on this victory.
