Eze, 27, has been on Tottenham’s radar for some time. His performances last season — 14 goals and 11 assists — have made him one of the most creative players in the Premier League.

Spurs see him as the ideal man to fill the gap left by James Maddison’s injury.

The England international is said to be open to joining Tottenham. Champions League football and staying in London are both big pulls.

Sources claim personal terms would not be a problem if the two clubs can agree on a fee.
