Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank offloaded several stars in summer reset in North London.

As part of the Dane's drive to put his own stamp on the squad, club icon Son Heung-min moved on to Los Angeles FC, and a host of new faces landed into the Lilywhites new-look team.

However, with a limited window of time to work with his new squad, Frank only sanctioned loans for some of his highly-rated young stars.

Academy graduate Mikey Moore moved to Rangers on a season-long loan as Russell Martin looked to bolster his forward line.

England U19 Moore made 10 Premier League appearances under Ange Postecoglou last season but his first-team chances were slashed by the arrivals of Mathys Tel, Randal Kolo Muani and Xavi Simons.

However, with Rangers struggling in Scotland and Martin's position under threat, Moore has made just two league starts and not completed 90 minutes in ether.

As per reports from Football Insider, Spurs are frustrated with his lack of prominence in Glasgow, and could push for a January recall.

If Frank's team are still fighting across four fronts at the start of 2026, Frank will need more options to cover injuries, with James Maddison already ruled out for the campaign.

There is also an option for an EFL Championship loan for the second half of 2025/26 but Spurs do not believe Rangers can get the best from the teenager as Martin faces more pressure.
