Tottenham Hotspur looked poised to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace, but the player is now set to sign for rivals Arsenal.
This is a huge disappointment for Spurs, who now have to endure the gloating of Arsenal fans about the saga.
Thomas Frank's side needs to move on from this and could sign a similar player from AS Monaco.
The Telegraph has reported that "Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Monaco’s attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche."
Would Maghnes Akilouche be a good fit for Spurs?

Akilouche is a similar player to Eze, as he can operate on the wing and as an attacking midfielder. However, as a left-footer, he favours playing on the right.
The Frenchman has already opened his account for Monaco this season, scoring in their 3-1 win over Le Havre on the opening weekend of Ligue 1.
During the last campaign, Akilouche managed five goals, with 10 assists in 32 league matches for Adi Hutter's side.
France has not yet capped the winger at senior level, but Akilouche represented their Olympic team. He was part of Thierry Henry's side that won a silver medal at the games last year.
