After sacking Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham have now confirmed the next man to take the helm: Thomas Frank. The change comes after Spurs clinched Champions League football by winning the Europa League, but the team finished 17th in the Premier League table.

Frank's prior managerial stint at Brentford took the club from the Championship and into the top flight, and he could be just the man to turn Tottenham back into a force to fear.

What should be expected from Thomas Frank?

Frank has signed a contract until 2028 at Tottenham. The new boss is joined by three of his colleagues from Brentford, as well as a former Manchester United first team assistant coach.

Frank took charge of Brentford in 2018, after serving as an assistant head coach since December 2016. He guided the Bees back into the Premier League in 2021 and has ensured the team hasn't fallen back down into the Championship.

The Danishman created a positive atmosphere around Brentford, and he'll hope to bring that same energy to Tottenham, as fans really only had the Europa League win to cheer about.

Tottenham lost 22 Premier League games this season and finished with just 38 points. Frank managed to turn Brentford into a stable, competitive side, which points to what he could do for his new London side.

Frank is likely to bring in some new faces, with Antoine Semenyo high on the list, according to Sky Sports News. One appeal for transfer targets is the promise of Champions League football at Tottenham. Frank could also see a player or two from Brentford decide to join him.
