Real Madrid star vows team will 'fight to win' ahead of PSG showdown image

Real Madrid have a tough fight ahead of them, as their clash with PSG is fast approaching in the Club World Cup

The club faced Borussia Dortmund in the quarterfinals, and while the Spanish side came out on top, there were nervy moments in the closing minutes.

Now, Real are set to face PSG, who obliterated Inter Milan in the Champions League final and will be looking for another chance to add a trophy to their cabinet.

Real aren't going to back down from the fight, and Aurélien Tchouaméni is ready to give it his all.

What did Tchouaméni say ahead of the semifinal?

Tchouaméni spoke to Real Madrid's media after training and said, "We are working very well to prepare for the PSG match. We are very happy to be in the semifinals, but we want more."

He continued, "We have to win the match against PSG, and we are going to give everything, fight to win, and continue in the competition.

"PSG is a good team, with many players I know personally. It is a top team in world soccer, it has won the Champions League. It's going to be a difficult game, but we have the quality to win it and we have to prove it."

Tchouaméni has been a staple for Real Madrid this tournament, totalling 445 minutes out of five matches.

The midfielder has swapped back and forth between playing as a defensive midfielder and a center back as needed.

The French international also spoke on his position and said, "The position of the midfielder is very important because we have to anticipate what is going to happen.

"My job is to adapt; it depends on the conditions of each game and the opponent's game."

Tchouaméni and Real will need to be at their best to stop a PSG attack that has put four goals past Inter Miami and two late goals past Bayern Munich.
