Real Madrid are facing a crunch decision over Vinicius Junior's future at the La Liga giants.
The Brazil international has played a vital role for Los Blancos in recent years winning three Spanish league titles and two UEFA Champions League crowns.
Under Carlo Ancelotti, the former Santos forward developed into a world superstar, with 91 goals scored in four seasons under the Italian.
Despite the arrival of Kylian Mbappe last summer, Vini Jr remained vital for Ancelotti, but the situation has changed slightly with Xabi Alonso.
Alonso has rotated the 25-year-old in and out of his team since the start of the 2025/26 campaign with Mbappe the sole undisputed starting attacker.
Both Alonso and Vinicius are keen to remain together in Madrid with the latter consistently stating his desire to renew his contract and become a club icon in the years ahead.

However, ongoing wrangling over his new contract has thrown that into doubt, amid evergreen transfer interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Real Madrid reject latest Vinicius Jr contract demand
Vini Jr's current deal runs until June 2027, and Real Madrid are open to a sale in 2026, as they remain determined to avoid him entering the final 12 months of his deal.
The main stumbling block is rumoured to centre on a salary request from Vini as he wants parity with Mbappe.
As per data from Capology, Mbappe currently earns around €31m [£27m] per year with Vinicius on €20m [£17.5m] and he is determined to close that gap.

Real Madrid are open to compromise, but they will not match Mbappe's figure for an existing squad member, and that has caused delays.
Additionally, the Real Madrid hierarchy have grown frustrated with his agency Roc Nation, over their approach to negotiations sine the start of 2025.
Reports from Mundo Deportivo claim Real Madrid will not pay Roc Nation's demand of a 'renewal bonus' if they secure a fresh contract with Vinicius due to the club's strict framework over renewals.
