Real Madrid are keeping eyes on Mamadou Sarr after his impressive start at the Racing Club Strasbourg after his loan move from Chelsea.
According to the Fichajes - his composure on the ball and strength in duels have allowed him to earn comparisons with some of the finest defenders in Europe and these traits have not gone unnoticed by Madrid’s scouting department.
Sarr came through the youth academy at Olympique Lyonnais before joining Strasbourg in August 2024 for €10m [$11m] and he immediately established himself as a starter by making 27 appearances that season while guiding the club into the UEFA Conference League.
That campaign convinced Chelsea to invest €14m [$16.3m] in June 2025 and while he was immediately loaned back to Strasbourg his development has only accelerated with consistent minutes against top level opposition.
