Endrick looked like a star in the making when he scored for Brazil against England as a 17-year-old. However, it has not worked out for him at Real Madrid

He is yet to play a single minute for Los Blancos this season. He has also lost his place in the Brazilian national team squad, with his former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti not calling him up for upcoming fixtures against South Korea and Japan.

It is clear that Endrick, who is now only 19, needs regular game time, and this could be achieved by leaving Real Madrid on loan.

Le 10 Sport has reported (translated from French), "The Marseille club was interested in the Brazilian's services this summer. But the latter was determined to establish himself at Real Madrid.

"However, Endrick could change his mind and open the door to a departure if he doesn't play more by this winter. This could prove to be a godsend for OM, who could relaunch their file in January."

Would Olympique de Marseille be a good fit for Endrick?

Endrick needs game time, but would have some competition at Marseille. They have centre-forwards with Premier League experience, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Neil Maupey. Amine Gouiri and Robinio Vaz are also at the club.

They are managed by the highly rated former Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian is known for giving young players a chance, which means that Endrick would fancy his chances at the Ligue 1 side.

Marseille are currently second in France's top flight, whilst they are also competing in the Champions League this season.

It is a sliding doors moment for Endrick. He could be a huge success at Marseille and go on to gain valuable experience for his long-term Real Madrid future.

However, the potential move could lead to further loans, and Endrick might become a bit of a journeyman.
