England secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after taking care of business against Latvia in qualifying on Tuesday night (October 14).
The Three Lions eased to a 5-0 win away in Riga to book their spot at next summer's tournament in North America with two games to spare.
The Euro 2024 finalists are as of now the only European nation to book a spot at the next edition of football's most prestigious event.
While England would have been largely favoured to top their qualifying group and make it to the World Cup, qualification has been achieved in a very impressive manner under Thomas Tuchel.
The German, who only took on the reigns as the England manager at the start of 2025, has overseen a flawless qualifying campaign so far, with the team registering six wins from six.
Across all six games played in Group K, England have netted 18 goals and not conceded once.

While England have remaining qualifiers to play against Serbia and Albania next month, Tuchel will now be keen to ramp up preparations for the World Cup.
The former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss was brought in by the English Football Association on an 18-month contract with the specific aim of delivering England's first major trophy since 1966.
England and all the other confirmed participants at next summer's tournament will learn of their group stage opponents for the World Cup when the draw takes place on Friday December 5.
The event will take place in Washington DC at the John F Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts at 17:00 GMT.
US President Donald Trump is set to be in attendance for the draw and will play a role in helping schedule the group stage fixtures.
Once England learn of the nations they will have to go up against next summer, Tuchel and his coaching staff will be sure to draw up plans to ensure The Three Lions are well prepared for a successful run at the tournament.
The 2026 edition of the World Cup will be the biggest ever as 48 teams will enter the tournament at the group stage.
This means there will be 12 groups consisting of four nations, with the top two teams in each group guaranteed passage to the knockout stages.
The top-eight ranked third place nations will also secure qualification to the knockout rounds.
Group stage matches will be held across the host nations of the United States, Mexico and Canada from June 11 - June 27 next year.
The knockout rounds will begin on June 29 and will culminate with the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
