September 2025 sees the start of the new Women's Super League season, and the end of the transfer window.
Clubs are scrambling to conclude business in the final days before the deadline to give themselves the strongest chance of a good campaign in 2025/26.
We've already seen the WSL transfer record broken this summer, and there's a strong likelihood that further significant movements will take place between now and the window closing.
The Sporting News looks at when that deadline will pass this week.
When does the WSL transfer window close?
The WSL transfer window closes at 11 p.m. BST on Thursday, September 3.
The deadline is just one day before the start of the new season. Champions Chelsea kick off 2025/26 with a home game against Manchester City on September 5.

Olivia Smith is the most expensive transfer in this window. She joined Arsenal from Liverpool for a £1 million fee, setting a new record for England's top flight.
That was the world record among women's transfers until Lizbeth Ovalle joined Orlando Pride from Tigres UANL in August.
