It has been a tough summer transfer window for Bayern Munich as they have struggled to secure their priority targets.
However, they eventually got one over the line as the German champions confirmed the arrival of Luis Diaz from Liverpool for a £65.5m ($87.3m) transfer fee.
The Colombian has thrived in the Premier League and provides immediate quality to this Bayern Munich team, who are shorthanded in attack, especially on the left flank.
Diaz has been extremely consistent for Liverpool over the years and was crucial to Arne Slot's team that won the Premier League last season.
The 28-year-old has won it all with the Reds and wants to continue doing the same for the Bavarians.
"I'm very happy, it means a lot to me to be part of FC Bayern – it's one of the biggest clubs in the world. I want to help my new team with my style of football and my personality. My goal is to win every possible title – we will work towards that every day as a team," Diaz stated after he was unveiled as a Bayern Munich player.

The Colombian winger demanded a pay rise from Liverpool, and when the Reds were reluctant to do so, he wanted to leave Anfield.
However, with two years left on his contract, and Bayern desperately looking for a left winger, it allowed Liverpool to churn out the most from this transfer deal.
What does Luis Diaz offer to this Bayern Munich team?
Diaz moved to Liverpool from FC Porto in 2022 and since then, he has produced some special performances for the Reds in these four seasons.

He has won multiple trophies for the Reds, and interestingly, the 2024/25 campaign was his best for Liverpool.
Diaz is known for his pace, dribbling, agility, penetration and exceptional work ethic. Predominantly a left winger, he can also slot in on multiple positions in attack.
According to FBref, he averaged 4.34 shot-creating actions, 2.17 successful take-ons, 6.18 touches received in the attacking positions and 0.48 non-penalty goals per 90 minutes from the 2024/25 campaign.
He featured in 50 matches last season for Liverpool and registered 17 goals and five assists across competitions.
Diaz could fill the void left by Leroy Sane, who moved to Galatasaray after he decided not to renew his contract with the Bavarians.
