The Carabao Cup, widely recognized as the EFL Cup or simply the League Cup, enters its 65th edition in the 2025-26 campaign, with silverware, pride, and European football opportunity all on the line.

Beyond the prize money and the chance to etch their name into English football's rich history, the eventual champions will also book a spot in the playoff round of next season's Europa Conference League.

After Manchester City and Arsenal ended last season without the trophy, the two Premier League clubs are looking for redemption and are among the betting favourites in the tournament. Both won their third-round matches by 2-0 margins against Huddersfield Town and Port Vale, respectively.

Holders Newcastle United will be eager to hang on to their silverware. However, there's still a stiff challenge, as the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea remain alive in the competition.
