The spotlight shines on Munich's Allianz Arena this Saturday as two European heavyweights, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, gear up for a blockbuster clash in the UEFA Champions League final.

With the trophy on the line and a ticket to the FIFA Club World Cup in the U.S. up for grabs, everything is set for an unforgettable night under the lights.

Inter return to the biggest stage eyeing redemption and a fourth Champions League trophy. After narrowly falling to Manchester City in the 2023 final, Simone Inzaghi's troops are determined to write a different ending this time around.

On the other side, PSG are chasing history of their own. Still seeking their first Champions League triumph, the Parisians have undergone a major transformation under club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. His appointment of Luis Enrique has sparked a tactical evolution, turning PSG into one of Europe's most entertaining and cohesive outfits.

With a talent-packed squad and momentum from a convincing 3-1 aggregate win over Arsenal in the semifinals, the French side arrives in Munich with purpose, and a score to settle. This finale isn't just about glory; it's about legacy.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

PSG vs. Inter Milan predicted lineups, team news

The biggest question for PSG boss Luis Enrique is who to deploy along the front line, as he boasts four attacking players all having world-class seasons. With Ballon d'Or candidate Ousmane Dembele back to full fitness after a slight muscle issue in the semifinals, he must select who to play on either side of the France international.

Winter signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is sure to start on the left, leaving it between Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola on the right overlapping into the middle when Dembele wishes to track out wide. Luis Enrique has handed the start to Doue on most occasions recently, and he's likely to do so here as well.

The only fitness concern for PSG is that of oft-injured Presnel Kimpembe, who has fallen down the defensive depth chart anyways. The rest of the club's starting lineup is easy to predict barring any issues that crop up in training between now and the start of the final.

PSG predicted lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Donnarumma (GK) — Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes — Neves, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz — Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.

Injured: Kimpembe (foot).
Suspended: None.

Inter have three players who have all worked to prove fit for this match, and it's possible that all three of them are available for selection.

Defender Yann Bisseck was withdrawn on the hour mark of Inter's final Serie A match against Como, and while Simone Inzaghi confirmed that he felt something in his knee, the consensus seems to be that he will prove fit for a starting role. If he cannot go, it would likely be Stefan de Vrij or Carlos Augusto to step in along the back line.

Also hoping to be fit are defender Benjamin Pavard and midfielder Piotr Zielinski. Pavard has missed each of the last four games with an ankle issue, but he may recover in time to give Inzaghi options, while Zielinski is thought likely to be available as a substitute as well despite a calf problem.

If all three can recover, it would leave young Valentin Carboni as the lone injury absentee for Inter as he recovers from a torn ACL.

Inter Milan predicted lineup (3-5-2, right to left): Sommer (GK) — Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni — Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco — Martinez, Thuram.

Injured: Bisseck (knee, doubt), Pavard (ankle, doubt), Zielinski (muscle, doubt), Carboni (ACL).
Suspended: None.
