Uruguay and South Korea are expected to produce entertainment when they launch Group H at the 2022 FIFA World Cup by playing each other.

Two-time World Cup winners Uruguay have lost one of their last nine internationals in 2022, making them favourites – but South Korea are in their 11th World Cup, the most by any Asian nation.

South Korea have lost one of their last nine matches, winning six times on that run and recording 1-0 victories over Cameroon and Iceland in their two most recent games.

Here's the latest team news, squad details and the possible starting sides for the nations.

Uruguay vs. South Korea lineups

Much could depend on the fortunes of the forwards in this game, not to mention their availability.

For Uruguay, Luis Suarez is targeting a prolific tournament in his final World Cup campaign at the age of 35 and could partner Darwin Nunez, of Suarez's former side Liverpool.

Valencia and former Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani is recovering from an ankle injury but should still feature at this World Cup for the South American side.

Tottenham and South Korea star Son Heung-min has been passed fit for the World Cup despite fracturing a bone around his eye earlier this month.

Wolves' Hwang Hee-chan and Hwang Ui-jo, of Olympiacos, will also be hoping to shine on the international stage after struggling to score for their club teams this season.
