The 2025 Boxing Day calendar is very different this time around as the EFL takes centre stage, with full slates of action in the Championship, League One and League Two.
The Premier League has just one offering, albeit it is a fascinating one with Man United playing Newcastle at Old Trafford in an 8pm kick off.
We've predicted the winner of all 10 Premier League games taking place across Boxing Day weekend, as well as how to claim 50/1 for Man United to win or 80/1 for Newcastle to win tonight.

It's set to be a huge weekend of sporting action with United vs. Newcastle providing two of the best Boxing Day betting offers, before the title race continues on Saturday with Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa all involved.
Sunday could then see the prompt for yet another top flight sacking as Spurs head down to Croydon to face Crystal Palace, while in-form Leeds travel to high-flying Sunderland in a battle between two of last season’s promoted sides. Let's dive into the predictions.
Man Utd vs. Newcastle Prediction
Newcastle have been one of the most efficient and effective counter-attacking sides in the country in the last couple of years.
Man United’s attacking improvement this season has often been let down by being far too open defensively and caught in transition, especially in the 4-4 draw with the Cherries.
They have remained entertaining to watch, though, with their 17 matches so far this season having produced an average of 3.47 goals per game.
Given United's AFCON absentees and a hamstring injury for talismanic captain Bruno Fernandes, we're backing Newcastle to win what should be a good watch for the neutral.
Score Prediction: Man Utd 1-2 Newcastle (10/1 with Bet365)

Nottingham Forest vs. Man City Prediction
Manchester City are expected to come out on top in what is an intriguing game for a Saturday lunchtime during the festive period, especially at the City Ground.
Despite Forest winning the corresponding fixture last season under Nuno, the sheer weight of their congested fixture schedule and Dyche having a much weaker record vs. Guardiola than the now West Ham boss, it shouldn’t be too tricky for the visitors.
Score Prediction: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Man City (8/1 with SpreadEx)

Arsenal vs. Brighton Prediction
Following their midweek EFL Cup quarter-final tie against Crystal Palace, Arsenal are expected to win and potentially win quite comfortably at the Emirates.
They have been underwhelming in their recent performances but have continued to get wins on the board with three victories in their last four matches.
Brighton have conceded 23 goals in 17 games, which is the third worst defensive record of the teams currently in the top-half. Only five teams have a higher expected goals conceded (xGC) than the Seagulls - including the bottom four in the table.
Score Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Brighton (13/2 with SpreadEx)

Brentford vs. Bournemouth Prediction
These are two sides that have best shattered the glass ceiling by establishing themselves as top-flight clubs in the Premier League but both are now desperate for a victory.
Brentford did earn a much-needed and well-timed defeat of a woeful Wolves team last week, while Bournemouth were pegged back to a 1-1 draw with struggling Burnley to extend their winless run of form to eight matches.
It is often daft to follow that trend and suggest well they are ‘due a win’ but the Cherries, especially after their thrilling 4-4 draw with Manchester United, are surely now due one.
Score Prediction: Brentford 1-2 Bournemouth (11/1 with Bet365)

Burnley vs. Everton Prediction
Another side who may well be ‘due a win’ would be Burnley but the quality of their squad and the standard of their performances have been very different to Bournemouth and the Clarets’ 1-1 draw with Bournemouth last week may well be as good as it gets.
An Everton side managed by David Moyes should be comfortable with the physical nature of the hosts, while also having enough to eventually get themselves another victory at Turf Moor.
Score Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Everton (17/2 with Sky Bet)
Liverpool vs. Wolves Prediction
Liverpool should win and they should win well. Both Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike notched against Spurs, albeit the former is now facing a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a fracture in his right leg. Florian Wirtz is also beginning to find some form.
Wolves are a really poor side. They might be more stubborn more often under Edwards, but this is a real mismatch even accounting for Liverpool’s unusually lower standards this season.
Score Prediction: Liverpool 4-1 Wolves (16/1 with Bet365)

West Ham vs. Fulham Prediction
This is a London derby that sees West Ham absolutely desperate to get themselves a much-needed victory against a Fulham side that, predictably, have edged away from immediate danger down at the bottom end of the table.
Surprisingly, and perhaps frustratingly for Nuno Espirito Santo, West Ham have lacked control. We think they will come out on top but Fulham’s abundance of attacking talent may not make it straightforward for the Irons in the east end.
Score Prediction: West Ham 3-2 Fulham (28/1 with Paddy Power)
Chelsea vs. Aston Villa Prediction
Chelsea have been far from convincing at home this season but Villa's current form feels unsustainable so a draw is the prediction for this one.
The Blues have won just three of their seven league games at Stamford Bridge but Villa surely can't keep pulling out screamers.
Unai Emery's side have won by a single goal in their last eight games but we don't think the Spaniard would be too disappointed with a draw as the Blues are kept at arms length in the table.
Aston Villa are currently on a 10-match winning streak across all competitions, boosted by their UEFA Europa League form, but if it is to come to an end then away at Stamford Bridge appears the most likely opportunity for it to do so.
Score Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Aston Villa (7/1 with Bet365)

Sunderland vs. Leeds Prediction
Sunderland are dealing with plenty of key CAF Africa Cup of Nations absentees but still continued to punch above their weight with a goalless draw at the AMEX Stadium against Brighton last week.
The Black Cats are expected to become a little less fluent in transition and that should help an in-form Leeds side to contain them and produce yet another good result.
Leeds were a lot better than Sunderland last year. Sunderland have been better this year but their heavy summer of investment has been nullified by their AFCON departures and so siding with the visitors may well be good value at the Stadium of Light.
Score Prediction: Sunderland 0-1 Leeds (8/1 with Bet365)
Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham Prediction
With both sides badly out of form right now, picking a winner is tough but home advantage could swing it in Palace's favour.
Spurs' brilliant away form has fallen apart, picking up just one point from their last three away days and conceding nine goals.
Palace have won none of their last three at home either but should just have a bit too much for the current crisis club in the league.
Should Spurs succumb to another poor defeat, especially in a London derby, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Thomas Frank become the next manager to depart a Premier League club.
Score Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 Tottenham (9/1 with Bet365)
