Olympiacos midfielder Christos Mouzakitis has been named the winner of the Golden Boy Web 2025, after topping a worldwide public vote organised by Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
The 18-year-old becomes only the second player to receive the fan-voted award, following Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, who won the inaugural edition last year.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on 1 December 2025 at the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile in Turin.
Strong backing from global supporters Fans from around the world selected their favourite from a 100-player shortlist, with Mouzakitis finishing ahead of leading young talents including Arda Güler of Real Madrid, Jobe Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund and last year's winner Yildiz.
The online vote is separate from the main Golden Boy award, which is determined by a panel of European journalists, but the Web edition has quickly gained prominence after attracting millions of supporters in its first two years.
Growing reputation Mouzakitis has emerged as one of Greece’s most promising players and is currently valued at €15 million, making him the most valuable member of the Olympiacos squad and the second most valuable player in the Greek Super League.
His rapid rise has led to interest from several major European clubs. Manchester United and Arsenal are reported to have scouted the midfielder, while Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with him in previous windows.
A six-cap Greece international, the Athens-born midfielder has already established himself as a regular at Olympiacos, featuring in domestic competitions as well as the Europa League and Champions League.
The award adds further visibility to Mouzakitis' growing profile as Olympiacos continue their push on both domestic and European fronts.
With interest building across Europe and his market value rising sharply over the past year, the teenager is likely to remain a key figure to watch in next few months.
