After missing out on World Cup  qualification yet again, Nigeria get their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations campaign underway against Tanzania

Having lost the 2023 final to Ivory Coast, the Super Eagles are among the favourites this year and will have little excuse not to win when they take on a side 74 places lower than them in the world rankings.

In their four previous tournament appearances, Tanzania have never made it past the group stage but will be aiming for a strong showing in Morocco ahead of co-hosting in 2027.

AllSportsPeople brings you all the latest tips and odds for this Africa Cup of Nations clash on Tuesday.

Nigeria vs. Tanzania Preview: Who Will Win Today?

Despite conceding in five of their last six games, Nigeria should be able to keep a goal-shy Tanzania side at bay here.

If they do that, the likes of Victor Osimhem, Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze should make the difference at the other end.

Anything else will pile even more pressure on manager Eric Chelle.

Score Prediction: Nigeria 2-0 Tanzania (12/1 with Bet365)

Nigeria vs. Tanzania Betting Tips

If Nigeria are to win, it's likely Osimhem will be on the scoresheet. While he has scored just once before in AFCON, he does have eight in his last seven games for his country.

A goal here at anytime for the Galatasaray striker is 11/10 with Bet365

The Super Eagles winning to nil is also at the same odds with AK Bets  and that's our other tip here.
