Manchester United have made a record revenue of £666.5 million, but still had an overall loss of £33 million, as reported in the club's 2024/25 season financial records.
The Red Devils released the report of their annual accounts on September 17, that showed record-breaking revenue.
The club say their five-year sponsorship deal with Snapdragon, which was signed last season, as the most valuable.
United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe began cost-cutting measures last season, and that is expected to continue into the new season as INEOS continue to restructure at Old Trafford.
The report shows an overall operating expenses down by 4.5 per cent, and a cut of £51.1 million to employee expenses.
Over 250 employees were made redundant from Old Tafford.
Players expenses have played a part in that - sold or loanee individuals from the first-team and lower have helped in United's restructuring to further cut expenses.
A £33 million loss is far better in comparison to the previous £113 million loss that lead to Ratcliffe's decision to make necessary cuts.
More cost-cutting measures are expected to be implemented and continued in order to bring losses down further.
However, it seems that United's presence and history as a club has overpowered what looks like a difficult time behind closed doors, as money continues to pour into the club.
And with a proposed New Trafford stadium plan in place - record breaking revenue is a positive for United.
