The Red Devils enjoyed a positive week in the Premier League, following up a convincing 2-0 home win over Tottenham Hotspur with a 1-1 draw at Chelsea secured by a last-gasp Casemiro equaliser.
They need only avoid losing by more than one goal on matchday five to guarantee they will finish at least second in Group E, but Erik ten Hag will be keen to see them take all three points and keep alive their chances of overtaking Real Sociedad in the final round of group games.
Thursday's match could also see the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was dropped from the squad for the Chelsea game after refusing to come on as a substitute against Spurs.

United won the reverse fixture 2-0 in September and Ten Hag will want his team to be more ruthless this time, particularly after it took until second-half injury time for them to score at home to Omonoia on matchday four.
An away victory, or even a draw, seems unlikely given recent results and the fact the visitors are without a head coach. However, it could be worth backing both teams to score in this one, with Sheriff in desperate need of goals to keep their Europa League campaign alive and United sometimes looking susceptible on the counter-attack.
