Manchester City will resume their Premier League campaign by hosting Everton on October 18 at Etihad Stadium as they aim to continue their winning streak.

The Citizens rose to fifth spot in the points table thanks to wins in their last two league games against Brentford and Burnley prior to the international break.

Meanwhile, Everton registered a splendid 2-1 win over Crystal Palace last time out to end the Eagles' unbeaten run, and the Toffees are in an upward curve thanks in part to the performances of Jack Grealish, who will be forced to sit out this game.

However, Moyes' team haven't had the best results in their away games this season — something that they will be keen to change in their trip to Manchester.

Pep Guardiola is once again without midfield lynchpin Rodri, who withdrew from Spain duty this month due to a hamstring problem.

Omar Marmoush is back on the bench after a month out with a knee problem, but Abdukodir Khusanov and Rayan Ait-Nourti remain on the sidelines.

In defence, Nathan Ake  makes his first Premier League start since February, with Josko Gvardiol  dropping to the bench - potentially 

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland, who is in sensational goal-scoring form, will lead the line for Guardiola's men after sitting out Norway's friendly draw with New Zealand this week. Savinho  gets the nod on the right wing ahead of Haaland's compatriot Oscar Bobb.

Michael Keane has recovered from a rib injury to partner James Tarkowski  at the heart of defence. 

Jack Grealish is ineligible to feature against his parent club, so Everton will need to reconfigure their attack in the absence of the England international.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall returns to the lineup after serving a one-match ban against Crystal Palace, with Iliman Ndiaye carrying much of the creative burden in Grealish's absence. 

Carlos Alcaraz  comes in for the former Aston Villa favourite. Beto replaces Thierno Barry at centre-forward.
