Liverpool and Newcastle United have agreed a British-record transfer fee for Alexander Isak.
The deal is a reported £125 million fixed fee, according to Sky Sports News.
The striker will join the club on a six-year deal and a medical is set to take place on the morning of Deadline Day, September 1.
Speculation about Isak's future has been ongoing, with the the Sweden International desperate for a move.
However Newcastle was adamant that he was not for sale.
Liverpool showed clear interest and had an offer of £110 million turned down by the Magpies, but they have since done a u-turn in their decision and would only release the striker if their price tag was met.
Newcastle's Saudi owners wanted the British-transfer record fee to be met and claimed they would not let him leave for £150 million.
This then reduced to £130 million, however it is understood the deal will be for five million less.
Isak was clear with his desire to leave St James' Park, releasing a statement on Instagram that the club had "broken promises" and said he lost trust in the side.
The striker wasn't part of the side's pre-season, due to an alleged injury and has not featured for their first three games of the Premier League season.
This will be the second time in the transfer window that Liverpool have broken a transfer fee record. They did so earlier in the summer when signing Florian Wirtz for £116 million from Bayer Leverkusen.
