FPL bargains: Your guide to the best cheap strikers image

Finding reliable budget strikers is often the key to building a winning Fantasy Premier League (FPL) squad.

With record-breaking premiums like Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah soaking up so much of your £100m budget, identifying the high-value forwards is more important than ever.

Based on the latest FPL data, pre-season form, and transfer news, here are some of the best bargain strikers to consider for the 2025/26 season, all priced at £6.0m or less.

The new number nine (£6.5m)

Jørgen Strand Larsen (Wolves)

At £6.5m, the Norwegian international is shaping up to be a standout option in this price bracket.

He ended last season in prolific form, netting 14 goals and four assists, including seven goals and two assists in his final nine games.

With Matheus Cunha's departure to Manchester United, Strand Larsen is now the primary focal point of the Wolves attack.

He is also expected to take over penalty duties, which greatly enhances his appeal.

With a decent early fixture run, he offers fantastic value as a second or third forward.

The mid-tier risers (£5.5m - £6.0m)

Igor Thiago (Brentford)

At just £6.0m, the Brazilian striker could be an insane value pick, but his appeal is directly tied to the transfer saga involving teammate Yoane Wissa.

If Wissa completes his reported move to Newcastle, Thiago will not only be nailed on for minutes but is also likely to become Brentford's first-choice penalty taker.

He had a strong record in the Belgian Pro League before an injury-hit debut season, making him a perfect "wait and see" option for managers.

Beto (Everton)

Priced at £5.5m, Beto emerged as Everton's first-choice striker in the latter half of last season, finishing with eight goals.

His physical presence and aerial ability perfectly suit David Moyes' direct style of play, making him a focal point in attack.

With a decent early fixture run, he offers a strong budget option with the security of reliable minutes.

The budget enablers (£5.0m and under)

Marc Guiu (Sunderland)

The cheapest starting forward in FPL at just £4.5m, Guiu is a loan signing from Chelsea who is expected to secure the lone forward role for newly-promoted Sunderland.

While he is not a prolific scorer, his rock-bottom price allows FPL managers to play a 3-5-2 formation and invest more of their budget into expensive midfielders.

He is the ideal bench fodder who provides the security of starts in an emergency.

Rodrigo Muniz (Fulham)

Priced at £5.5m, Muniz had a on-off season last term, but still managed eight goals and an assist in only eight starts.

With a move to Leeds rumoured to be on the cards, Muniz could become a talisman for his new side, offering fantastic value.

Whether you're building a squad around premium assets or aiming for a balanced team, these budget forwards could be the key to a successful season.

Good luck with your team ahead of the Gameweek 1 deadline!
