The long road to the final steps up from the group stages onwards with the knockout rounds scheduled for February 2024.

UEFA have aimed to reset their hosting plans, with previous finals disrupted and changed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the 2024 showpiece looks set to go ahead as planned.

Where is the UEFA Champions League final in 2024?

The 2024 UEFA Champions League final will be played at Wembley Stadium in London, UK with a 90,000 all-seater capacity.

A return to the UK means Wembley will host its eighth European Cup/Champions League final, more than any other stadium in Europe

Wembley's first appearance as a final host, for the Champions League's predecessor, the European Cup, came in the 1963 showdown between AC Milan and Benfica.

Milan emerged victorious in that clash, with Benfica losing again at Wembley in 1968, as Manchester United became the first English side to win the competition.

Wembley also hosted the final European Cup final, before evolving into the Champions League in 1992, as Ronald Koeman's winner saw Barcelona edge out Sampdoria.

Barcelona famously won again in 2011, as Pep Guardiola's side stormed past United, and Bayern Munich won the 2013 final against Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, under the famous Wembley arch.

When is the UEFA Champions League final in 2024?

The 2024 UEFA Champions League final is scheduled for June 11, 2024 at Wembley Stadium.

The fixture is slightly earlier than the 2023 final, on June 10, as UEFA is looking to readjust their calendar following the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The exact kickoff time is yet to be confirmed, but UEFA are likely to follow the same pattern of staging the match in the evening local time (likely to be 8 p.m. BST), to accommodate global TV viewership.

A kickoff of 8 p.m. BST in the UK would be a start time of 3 p.m. ET in the USA/Canada.
