The second instalment of the ‘Thomas Frank Derby’ comes at the Gtech on New Year’s Day with Brentford looking to stay ahead of Tottenham in the table.
Brentford come into this one on the back of a 4-1 hammering of Bournemouth, leaving the Bees just two points outside the top seven and the European spots.
It has been a brilliant season after a tumultuous summer that saw the departures of Frank as well as Mark Flekken, Christian Norgaard, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa.
A further point back, Tottenham head across the capital city after a much-needed 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Spurs have been inconsistent throughout this season and Frank remains under pressure in the bottom half of the table.
AllSportsPeople brings you our football tips for this Premier League clash, as well as how to claim 50/1 odds for Liverpool to score in their game against Leeds tonight!
Brentford vs. Spurs Prediction: Who Will Win?
Thomas Frank should be aware of how to exploit the weaknesses of the hosts and their counter-attacking style that has been implemented this season should see them capable of exposing an entertaining Brentford side.
The Bees’ 18 matches so far this season have produced 54 goals with their home form again being as entertaining and as high-scoring as ever so we're backing an entertaining score draw.

Brentford vs. Tottenham Betting Tips
There have been 54 goals in Brentford's 18 league games so far, with 50 across Tottenham's. Only Arsenal and Man City have scored more home goals than the Bees' 20. In fact, the Etihad is the only stadium to have seen more goals.
Over 2.5 goals (10/11 with Bet365) looks to be a value bet, as does over 1.5 goals at 6/5 on Sky Bet. They have scored 2+ goals at home on six out of nine occasions.

Brentford Team News
- Burkina Faso international attacker Dango Ouattara remains unavailable for the hosts as he is away on international duty at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations, alongside Frank Onyeka, who is with Nigeria.
- Former Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg is now a doubt for the hosts after he picked up a knock and he is expected to be sidelined on NYD once again.

Tottenham Team News
- Tottenham have their own couple of AFCON absentees, too, as both Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr are away with Mali and Senegal respectively.
- Big money summer signing Xavi Simons, who joined from PSV Eindhoven a few months again, remains suspended for Spurs after his red card against Liverpool but Cristian Romero has returned.
- Lucas Bergvall was forced off through injury against Palace and so he is now a doubt for this one, which leaves a slight issue in the attacking midfield position.
