The scene is set for an intriguing clash on Matchday 3 of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League, as Brann welcome a new-look Rangers side with a fresh face at the helm.

It has been a desperately disappointing campaign so far for Rangers, who sacked Russell Martin and replaced him with former Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl earlier this week. Rohl will take charge of his first match in Norway.

Brann haven't played in the competition proper of a UEFA tournament since they reached the UEFA Cup Round of 32 back in 2007/08. The Norwegians have performed well thus far, though, with a win against Utrecht a few weeks ago following a narrow opening 2-1 defeat against Lille.

AllSportsPeople brings you our betting preview  for this one, complete with the latest tips, predictions and odds.

Brann vs. Rangers: Who Will Win?

Brann were competitive in their opening game of the UEFA Europa League campaign, ultimately falling to defeat at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, but they backed that up with an impressive 1-0 victory over Utrecht in Norway earlier this month.

Even in UEFA Champions League qualification, Rangers were poor away from home, despite victories against Panathinaikos and Viktoria Plzen, and they have started their Europa League challenge with back-to-back defeats.

The signs are that Rohl has his work cut out.

The Gers should remain confident of avoiding defeat but with little time for Rohl to work with his charges and a long midweek trip, it seems unlikely they will be able to force a win.

Defensive issues have been clear since the start of the campaign, too, and with these two sides having both been erratic of late, we think this one could be finely balanced.

Brann vs. Rangers Score Prediction

Brann have employed a disciplined style of football that has got them results so far this season and it is likely they will prioritise safety first at home in the league phase of the Europa League.

Rangers will head to Scandinavia looking to try and implement Rohl's high-intensity pressing style of football but that may take time and is unlikely to bring much in the way of an immediate creative spark.

This one appears unlikely to be a thriller for the neutral, and we're backing a draw.

Prediction: Brann 0-0 Rangers (12/1 with Paddy Power)
