The holders PSG underlined their huge strength in depth by coming from behind to win 2-1 at Barcelona despite their ever-lengthening injury list. The game was heading for a draw until substitute Goncalo Ramos came up with the 90th minute winner. Luis Enrique's side will take some stopping when the likes of Ballon d'Or winner Dembele, Doue and Kvaratskhelia return.

Barcelona vs. PSG live updates from Champions League

FINAL WHISTLE: The Champions League holders have come from behind to beat the La Liga champions Barcelona after a late winner for Ramos, supplied by the tireless Hakimi.

92nd Minute: Late yellow card for the frustrated Yamal. Can PSG close it out?

GOAL 90th Minute! Barcelona get what they deserve and their high line is punished! Hakimi finds Ramos to sweep in what will surely be the winner! Clinical finish from the super sub. Dembele who?

87th Minute: No winning goal yet but it's all PSG in the closing stages. Szczęsny does well to deal with a deflected cross from Hakimi. At the other end, Hakimi gets himself a caution for a needless foul on Ferran Torres.

83rd Minute: A huge moment as Kang-in concludes a mazy run by hitting the outside of Barcelona's left post! Szczęsny was well beaten!

80th Minute: The goalscorer Mayulu and Barcola withdrawn by PSG, replaced by Kang-in and Ndjantou respectively. The draw is now odds on with most bookmakers.

79th Minute: Can either side find a winner in the final 10 minutes? The substitutions have disrupted the flow a little but it remains open. Casado picks up a needless yellow card. A Champions League debut, meanwhile, for 19-year-old Bernal who replaces Pedri.

72nd Minute: Triple change for the hosts. Lewandowski, Casado and Balde on for Rashford, Olmo and Gerard Martin. A possible injury for Olmo, the other two tactical. Can Lewandowski add to his tally of 105 Champions League goals? Ramos on for Ruiz for PSG.

65th Minute: Huge chance missed for Olmo! Incredible block from Hakimi. Bet365 have Mendes at 28/1 to be sent off (Sub On Play On). Reserve left back Hernandez comes on but not for Mendes, it's Mbaye that departs.

61st Minute: Hakimi threatens to get in down the right before Garcia makes a crucial recovery tackle for Barcelona. Mendes then rolls the dice with a foul on Yamal right on the edge of the PSG box. Why was he not sent off? Yamal blazes the resulting free kick over the bar.

56th Minute: The odds reflect PSG's strong start to the second half. Barcelona 13/10 now with most bookmakers, while the visitors are largely 5/2 or 11/4. Yellow card for Dani Olmo.

53rd Minute: Low key start to the second half broken by an explosive run and shot from PSG's Mbaye. Barcola then finds half a yard for a shot soon after, saved by Szczęsny. PSG on top.

Back Underway! No half-time changes at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. Barcelona will expect to go on and win this given PSG's injuries and the pre-match withdrawal of Joao Neves.

Odds Check! 11/10 with Betfair if you fancy a Barcelona win before the second half. LiveScore Bet have price boosted Yamal from 23/20 to 5/4 for a goal or assist - he should have had an assist in the first half if Ferran Torres had taken his 14th minute chance.

Half Time! Rashford epitomises his inconsistency by following a swashbuckling run with a corner that meekly finds the side netting. Yamal has one last sight of goal before the referee blows for half time. We're level at the break after an entertaining 45 minutes.

44th Minute: Maybe signs of that knock as Mendes clumsily fells Yamal to pick up a yellow card. An awkward second half to come for the left back.

42nd Minute: Barcelona suddenly under the cosh. Barcola shows a lack of composure for the second time in the first half, blazing over from the left side of the box. PSG 7/2 to win the game having been 10/1 after Torres' opener.

GOAL 38th Minute: PSG are level out of nowhere! Mendes shakes off the achilles injury, beating several defenders before playing in Mayulu to level the scores!

32nd Minute: Barcelona's captain for the night, Frenkie de Jong, gets the first yellow card after a foul on the rampaging Nuno Mendes, who subsequently requires treatment.

30th Minute: A quick VAR check for a possible Barcelona penalty (foul on Garcia) is followed by the first first PSG shot on target - a free kick from Hakimi.

24th Minute: A heavy touch denies a great goalscoring chance for Barcola. End to end now after a slow opening 10 minutes. Barcelona 1/3 with most bookmakers to take the three points.

GOAL! 19th Minute: Vitinha is made to pay for losing the ball cheaply in midfield. Pedri plays it to Rashford on the left who finds Ferran Torres in the centre to open the scoring!

14th Minute: Yamal's exquisite through ball brings a great chance for Ferran Torres, whose shot is blocked by Zabarnyi. PSG are struggling to cope with the teenager in the early stages.

10th Minute: A slow start aside from that moment of Yamal magic. Barcelona have enjoyed nearly two thirds of the ball. The first corner of the game for PSG brings a half chance for Zabarnyi.

KICK OFF! We're underway. Joao Neves was replaced by Warren Zaire-Emery for PSG before a ball was kicked. Into the action, an outrageous piece of skill from Lamine Yamal inside the first 90 seconds draws an early chance for Barcelona's Ferran Torres.

15 mins to kick off: Tactically, it will be interesting to see if Marcus Rashford can find space in behind Achraf Hakimi on PSG's right. The two-goal hero from Matchday 1 is now 4/7 to make Thomas Tuchel's England World Cup Squad having been 6/5 a month ago.

30 mins to kick off: A reminder that tonight's headline match features two of the top four in the outright betting for the 2025/26 Champions League. Barcelona are a 6/1 chance, while 7/1 for PSG can be found on Virgin Bet. Let's see how that shakes out after the match.

1 hour to kick off: The bookmakers have reacted to PSG's decimated front line by cutting Barcelona from 4/5 into a general 4/6. 3/4 is still available with AK Bets, who go 10/3 on PSG. The visitors' makeshift front three are a huge 10/1, 14/1 and 16/1 in the first goalscorer market!

1 hour 15 mins to kick off: Lineups are in! For Barcelona, Dani Olmo will start at the No. 10, with Marcus Rashford on the left in place of the injured Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal returning to his regular spot on the right.

For PSG, all three of their regular midfielders start, but the front line is a mess. In the absence of all three starters up front, it's Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye who partner, while Senny Mayulu also starts as an extra midfielder in what will likely be a 4-4-2 diamond.

PSG have so few available players that they are only able to name nine substitutes, seven of them outfield players, while Barcelona have 12 on the bench.

1 hour 30 mins to kickoff: As much as the narrative of this match should be about a battle between two of the top title contenders in Europe's greatest competition, injury problems have marred the expectations for the match.

While Barcelona are without Raphinha and Joan Garcia, while Lamine Yamal is only just back from a spell on the sidelines, it's PSG who have it far worse.

As we wait for confirmed lineups, the Parisians could be without their Ballon d'Or winner, some combination of their Ballon d'Or-nominated midfield trio, their captain, and last winter's star signing.

It's probably for that reason Barcelona are odds on with the bookmakers to win the game (4/5 best price on AK Bets). PSG can be backed at better than 3/1 across the board.

Lamine Yamal played a late cameo off the bench in Barcelona's 2-1 weekend La Liga win over Real Sociedad, and the 18-year-old will start.

Raphinha is out until after the international break with a muscle issue and Wojciech Szczesny will continue as cover for the injured Joan Garcia in goal. Gavi and Fermin Lopez are also sidelined, but fellow academy graduate Alejandro Balde may be fit enough for the matchday squad.

Marcus Rashford scored his first Barcelona goals in their opening UCL win at Newcastle United earlier this month and the England international will be paired with Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres in the hosts' attack. Robert Lewandowski starts the match on the bench.

Barcelona starting lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Szczesny (GK) — Kounde, Garcia, Cubarsi, Martin — Pedri, De Jong — Lamine Yamal, Olmo, Rashford — F. Torres.

Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia expected to be out until at least mid-October alongside captain Marquinhos

Late checks were made on Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha and Joao Neves - all three were down to start before Neves' late withdrawal. Senny Mayulu plays in midfield with Warren Zaire-Emery.
