According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Premier League giants Manchester United and Manchester City have identified Newcastle United’s Sandro Tonali as their potential transfer target.

Tonali, who is valued at around £70 million, has bounced back strongly after serving a 10-month suspension for breaching betting regulations, limiting him to just 12 games last season.

Since his return in August, 25 year old has been central to Newcastle’s push for a top-five finish and his form has caught the eye of English football’s elite.

Manchester United have shown the most serious interest and are reportedly in a tug-of-war with a top European club for the Italian midfielder, who joined Newcastle from AC Milan for £55 million in July 2023.

And the numbers clearly shows why Manchester United are showing such an inclination for the midfielder.
