The future of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim remains a major discussion point among the club's supporters and throughout the football space.
The Red Devils have endured a poor first 11 months under the Portuguese boss, finishing a record-low 15th place in the Premier League last season, and failing to register back-to-back wins in the league since the appointment.
United's poor form under Amorim has continued into the current campaign as the team have lost three of their opening seven league fixtures and were dumped out in the second round of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town.
However, pressure on the 40-year-old has eased slightly after United recorded a 2-0 win over Sunderland last Saturday (October 4).
Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe revealed over the October international break that he wanted to give Amorim another three years to put things right at United.
Those remarks came as a major surprise to many due to the team showing no real signs of improvement under the United boss recently.

Roy Keane on who his former side should appoint as manager
Despite Ratcliffe's public display of confidence in Amorim, a run of bad results over the coming weeks could change perceptions and force United to consider new managerial options.
United legend and former captain Roy Keane believes one name stands out and would be his preferred choice to take on the reigns at Old Trafford should Amorim be sacked.
"I've said it for years, I'd like to see Atletico Madrid's (Diego) Simeone. I think he would create havoc, but good havoc. He would rock up and say, 'This is how you do things.'," the former United midfielder said on the latest episode of the Stick to Football podcast.

"Obviously, there is no guarantee, but I’d like to see it with his personality and track record," he added.
Keane then dismissed concerns some may have over the Atletico manager playing a defensive brand of football, and mentioned he is a fan of the large spirit the Argentine instills in his players.
"People might think about styles of football - they beat Real Madrid where they scored five. He is defensive, yeah, he doesn’t like his team giving up too many goals or chances, but they can play a bit," Keane explained.
"They have fight. We said it (in the match with) Liverpool a few weeks ago, the team isn’t as great as it was a few years ago, but they still have that fighting spirit. He’s on the sideline, he got sent off for that. I like a big personality."
Despite Keane's wishes for his former team to look at appointing Simeone, the 55-year-old is contracted with Atletico until 2027.
Also, the Argentine is unlikely to be on United's list of candidates should a replacement for Amorim be sought, with the club reportedly keeping an eye on Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner and Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola.
