Crystal Palace are currently third in the Premier League and play in the Europa Conference League tonight, but not all is well for Oliver Glasner at the club.

Palace continues to be a selling club; they let Eberechi Eze join Arsenal last summer, and Marc Guehi is expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.

Glasner has done a tremendous job with Palace, winning the FA Cup and the Community Shield. However, he will not be able to continue having success if they continue to lose their best players.

He has been linked with replacing Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, and there are doubts as to whether he will stay at Palace.

The BBC has reported that " the chances of Glasner staying are remote, that the perceived transfer inactivity over the summer was taken as a sign that he and the club are not aligned in terms of their ambitions."

Could Oliver Glasner be the next Manchester United manager?

Despite not being in European competition and languishing in 14th place in the Premier League, United is still a big draw for managers.

Big-name coaches, including Jose Mourinho and Louis van Gaal, have failed to get United back to their level during the Sir Alex Ferguson era at the club.

Amorim was once thought to be United's saviour, but his reluctance to change his three-at-the-back system is becoming a problem as results do not improve.

Sir Gareth Southgate has also been linked with United, but there are reports that he is not interested in the job.

Glasner has a very good CV, which also includes a Europa League win with Eintracht Frankfurt. If he is to be United's next manager, then the club will expect success on the continent as well as domestically.
