Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has admitted that he is still adapting to the demands of English football after a testing start to life at Old Trafford.
Sesko joined United from RB Leipzig this summer for a reported £74 million but has yet to find the back of the net in any of his first four appearances under manager Ruben Amorim.
United will be banking on Sesko – alongside fellow attacking newcomers Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha – to revive an attack that flattered to deceive on multiple occasions last season.
Sesko was prolific during his time in Germany, netting 27 goals across 64 Bundesliga outings for Leipzig, but the striker has acknowledged that the Premier League is proving to be a tougher challenge.

“The level of the matches is certainly much higher, the players and teammates are also at a higher level,” he told Epika.
“After all, English football is at the highest level in the world of football.
“But I am very much looking forward to the coming period, also because I am getting better and faster in every training session, and I am also progressing in my football mentality every day.
“I wanted to move to England and fortunately my wish came true,” the 21-year-old added.

Sesko’s wait for a first United goal could end in dramatic fashion, with the Red Devils next facing bitter rivals Manchester City in the Premier League.
Despite the high-profile nature of the fixture, United’s new striker says he is up for the challenge.
“It’s true, it’s an incredibly big match coming up,” Sesko said about the Manchester derby.
“There will simply be some pressure on both sides to just win this match. There’s still quite a bit to go until this match, but we’re definitely looking forward to a top-notch match.”
For now, he will turn his focus to Slovenia, where he will feature in World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Sweden.
With a record of 11 international goals in 28 appearances, Sesko will undoubtedly be hoping to return to the scoresheet for his country and gain the confidence needed to kickstart his United career.
