Manchester United could offload two star names as part of a busy January transfer window.
There could be major changes at Old Trafford in the coming weeks with Ruben Amorim's future still uncertain after a poor start to the 2025/26 campaign and the Portuguese coach may not last until the end of 2025.
Amorim spent heavily in the summer window with £225m spent on attacking trio Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Those arrivals have yielded a low-key return in front of goal, with Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Jadon Sancho all moving on, and Joshua Zirkzee's role slashed.
The Dutch international was linked a summer return to Serie A, after scoring just three league goals in his debut top-flight campaign, on the back of a 2024 transfer from Bologna.
United are open to a loan exit for the 24-year-old, with reports from Football Insider claiming West Ham United have the edge over Everton, with both sides registering an interest in a six-month deal.

As per the latest from Mail Sport, Zirkzee has spoken to Amorim over a possible mid-season departure, as he wants to save his World Cup dream with the Netherlands.

Concerns over places at next summer's tournament will dictate a host of January exit pushes and Zirkzee has not been called up for La Oranje duty by Ronald Koeman since November 2024.
The Daily Mirror has boosted claims of Kobbie Mainoo also looking to leave in January, amid a reduced role at the start of 2025/26, and the academy prospect is concerned of falling off Thomas Tuchel's England radar.
Mainoo has interest from within the Premier League, but Napoli could be his destination, as Antonio Conte can offer Champions League football to the 20-year-old.
