The Manchester United hierarchy continues to stick by Ruben Amorim despite the difficult start to the new Premier League season.

The club secured their first clean sheet of the season against Sunderland, as Senne Lammens made his United debut.

United's attack is also starting to come together, with Benjamin Sesko having two goals in his last two matches.

The midfield continues to be a struggle, and United are considering a January move for a midfielder, with multiple names on their list.

A new report out of Mundo Deportivo claims United are interested in signing Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga during the winter transfer window.

United have been heavily linked with Camavinga before, but new factors could push the French midfielder into leaving the Bernabeu.

What could send Camavinga to United?

Camavinga has had several injuries in the last season, and he is only just returning from an injury sustained earlier this season.

His playing has been limited, but Xabi Alonso seems to prefer Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Aurelien Tchouameni in midfield.

The Frenchman is reportedly frustrated with his playing time, which could see him searching for a January move.

Amorim's side is monitoring Camavinga's situation, and as the January window gets closer, United could push for a midseason move for the midfielder.

Camavinga's versatility could be the perfect fit for the struggling club, and he has proved he can play on the biggest stages for Real Madrid
