Manchester United have started their new Premier League season with a 1-0 loss against Arsenal on August 17 at Old Trafford.

With some new arrivals in the summer, Manchester United have also parted ways with some players, and a few have been loaned to other clubs. There are some existing players whose futures at the Premier League giants are in doubt, and one such name is Jadon Sancho.

Sancho arrived at Man United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 and had a fallout with former manager Erik ten Hag in 2023, following which he was on loan to his former side and Chelsea, respectively.

However, in June, Chelsea opted not to exercise the option to sign Sancho, paying a £5 million penalty to Man United to avoid signing him permanently. The Englisman has since been tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Sancho has reportedly turned down interest from Turkish club Besiktas and AS Roma, despite being ruled out of Man United’s squad for their opening league fixture.

What’s next for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho?

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Sancho’s agent has informed Roma of his decision not to join the Serie A club.

The winger is also reportedly not considering a move to Turkey and has hence rejected Besiktas’ offer despite the Super Lig side being open to match United’s asking price.

With one more year left in his contract, Man United are hoping for offers of around £20m for Sancho, considering the Red Devils bought him for a reported fee of £73m.

Sancho has registered a total of 83 appearances for Man United, during which he scored 12 goals and provided six assists.
