Christian Eriksen has been a free agent since leaving Manchester United in the summer.
The midfielder has bided his time in the search for a new club and has been rewarded with a move to the Bundesliga.
Fabrizio Romano posted on X: "Eriksen to Wolfsburg, here we go! Deal in place and medical in Germany."
It is a remarkable story that Eriksen is still playing after he suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing for Denmark at Euro 2020.
Credit must go to Brentford for taking a chance on him in 2022, which earned him his move to United.

Eriksen was left out of Denmark's squad for the recent World Cup qualifiers. However, he has not retired from international football yet.
He will be hoping that his move to Wolfsburg will enable him to be recalled to his national team.
It will help that Wolfsburg has a large contingent of Danish players.
Andreas Skov Olsen, Adam Daghim, Jesper Lindstram, Joakim Maehle, and Jonas Wind are all with the German side
Denmark's head coach, Brian Riemer, will be delighted with this as it will help hugely with team chemistry.
