Benjamin Sesko has had a difficult start to his Manchester United career, and things may have taken a turn for the worse.
The striker came off the bench in United's Premier League game at Tottenham on November 8, when the Red Devils were 1-0 up. He failed to get a shot away when presented with two clear opportunities in the penalty area; in the process of Micky van de Ven's excellent recovery tackle during the second, Sesko appeared to hurt his knee.
The Slovenia international had to leave the field and, with United having already made all their substitutions, they had to play the closing stages with 10 men. By this time, Mathys Tel had equalised for Spurs, and Richarlison headed them into the lead in stoppage time. Matthijs de Ligt then nodded in a last-gasp equaliser for the visitors at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
After the game, head coach Ruben Amorim revealed some concern about Sesko, although he could not offer many details on the potential injury.

Benjamin Sesko injury update
Amorim confirmed after the draw with Spurs that Sesko had hurt his knee.
The United boss had discussed the striker's unconvincing form prior to the game, but he said: "That is not the biggest concern now. That happens, especially with a striker. I am more concerned with an injury, because it's in the knee.
"We don't know [the problem]. We need Ben to be a better team. I have no idea. Because [it] is the knee, we never know."
Sesko seemed to sustain the injury after being played through on goal by a clever pass from Mason Mount. Spurs defender Van de Ven reacted well to sprint back and make a sliding tackle just as Sesko tried to shoot, and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario had an easy task in gathering the ball.
Sesko then sat down on the pitch and signalled to the bench that he had felt something. He was able to walk off the field unaided, but he was in enough discomfort that he could not continue playing.
The forward will have further checks in the coming days, but it looks unlikely he will be able to join up with the Slovenia national team for World Cup qualifying games over the next two weeks. Whether he must then miss some of United's closing schedule for 2025 remains to be seen.

Benjamin Sesko stats 2025/26
Sesko has played 12 games for United since signing from RB Leipzig in August, although only seven of those have been starts.
He has scored just twice, netting in the 3-1 loss to Brentford on September 27 and then in the 2-0 home win over Sunderland a week later. He has one assist to his name, having set up Bryan Mbeumo to score in the 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Amorim spoke about Sesko prior to the Spurs game and admitted it was not a surprise to see the 22-year-old was taking time to adapt. "I understand how things are in football, and he's going to struggle," he said. "He has no experience here, and when everyone says that you are the next big thing, you hear that. If you don't perform every week, you are going to hear from club legends, from pundits, the media, and sometimes they are right.
"The ability to understand that this is normal and maintain your confidence is really hard for a kid, and especially for a kid that wants to control everything. He is not going to control everything."
