Manchester City right-back Rico Lewis has made a big decision over his future amid being of strong interest from Nottingham Forest.
Forest placed a bid worth £25m for Lewis last week due to feeling encouraged about a potential deal, but the bid was turned down by the player's current club.
Lewis' future has been up in the air recently as he was not named in City's match-day squad for the FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace last May.
Also, the player failed to reach an agreement with City in recent months despite discussions taking place with the Premier League club over a new deal.
However, the 20-year-old's future seems to be decided now, as the Daily Mail's Jack Gaughan reports Lewis will agree on a new five-year contract to remain at the Etihad Stadium.
The impending new deal will see the defender remain contracted to the club until 2030, after his previous deal was going to run until 2028.

Per David Ornstein, the contract extension has the option of an additional year and no release clause is included.
Talks accelerated over the new contract after City's 4-0 win over Wolves on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
Lewis started the game at Molineux, and impressed for Pep Guardiola's side as he set-up Erling Haaland's first-half opener.
Likely to have convinced Lewis to commit his long-term future to City is his manager. Guardiola had a discussion with the right-back on his situation due to Forest's pursuit of the player.
Lewis featured 44 times for City last season and is likely to get many minutes again this season as right-back Kyle Walker departed the club this summer.
Midfielder Matheus Nunes is the only player Lewis is set to have to contend with for the right-back spot as versatile defender, Manuel Akanji, may be on his way to Galatasaray.
