Manchester City are expected to sell more first-team stars before the Premier League transfer window closes on September 1.
Pep Guardiola has openly admitted his squad is 'too big' and the Catalan coach is prepared to offload several established stars as part of a tactical revamp at the Etihad Stadium.
Ederson's No.1 spot looks under major threat following the return of James Trafford with Brazil international Savinho linked to Tottenham.
Guardiola has brought in £155m worth of new faces over the summer - including England international Trafford - alongside Rayan Ait-Nouri, Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki and Sverre Nypan.
That has been balanced against around £80m in sales including James McAtee's recent switch to Nottingham Forest but one City star will not be heading to the City Ground.
As per reports from the Daily Mail, Rico Lewis has told Guardiola he will not accept a move to Nuno Espirito Santo's team, as he feels ready to be City's first-choice right-back this season.

Kyle Walker's departure has left a gap in Guardiola's team and Lewis has now firmly turned down the offer from Forest.

The 20-year-old was a £30m target, but after catching the eye in City's 4-0 Premier League opening win at Wolves, he outlined the next step in 2025/26.
"I've never ever seen myself at a different club - I've always wanted to play for City," he said.
"It's my dream club, and when I'm playing with the kind of players that I'm playing with, it brings out the best in me, so I'm so happy."
Lewis laid on a perfect assist for Erling Haaland's opener at Molineux and the England international now looks to be ahead of Matheus Nunes in Guardiola's starting plans.
