Jack Grealish has been handed fresh career advice as he grows closer to a potential exit from Manchester City.
The English playmaker is currently out of favour at City and is not part of the team's core plans for the future.
After playing a big role in City's treble-winning 2022/23 campaign, Grealish struggled for consistency in a blue shirt, with injuries and underwhelming displays placing him further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium.
Grealish's lack of minutes at club level impacted his international career as he was left out of Garteh Southgate's final 26-man England squad for last year's European Championships in Germany.
Last season he managed to score just once in the Premier League for City, with the goal coming in April against Leicester City.
A goal from the penalty-spot in an FA Cup third round tie against Salford City in January was his first club goal for over a year.

The 29-year-old's fate was ultimately sealed earlier this summer when he was left out of Pep Guardiola's final 27-man squad for the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
The recent developments mean City are willing to move on from a player purchased from Aston Villa for a club-record fee of £100m just four years ago.
City are open to moves for Grealish, but it may become difficult to sell the Englishman due to him being one of the club's top earners.
Gabriel Agbonlahor advises where Grealish should head next

Former Aston Villa striker and past teammate of Grealish, Gabriel Agbonlahor, has given his view on where the City outcast should go to rejuvenate his career.
Despite there being links to Everton and Napoli, Agbonlahor believes the 29-year-old should head to the current Europa League holders, Tottenham Hotspur.
"I would go to Spurs, staying in the Premier League, even though I do like players that try different leagues. But a team like Spurs that’s going to be playing Champions League football, it’s a no-brainer to stay in the Premier League," said Agbonlahor on talkSPORT.
"Thomas Frank as well – I’m sure he’d love to have a player like Jack Grealish, the quality that he’s got."
Spurs may opt to sign an attacking player this summer due to the recent news that James Maddison suffered an ACL injury and will likely miss most of the coming season.
In fact, the North London club were already seeking a new playmaker before Maddison's injury.
A recent deal to acquire Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest appeared to be close, before Spurs were accused of approaching the Englishman illegally and breaching a confidentiality agreement regarding the player's release clause.
Despite Agbonlahor's passionate stance on Grealish's future, no talks have taken place between City and Spurs.
Everton are the only club to have contacted City so far in the transfer window, with a potential loan deal having been discussed.
