With the Premier League season paused and the summer transfer window now closed until January, attention has quickly shifted to World Cup qualification.
The majority of European sides will play six matches spread across international windows in September, October and November including Alexander Isak's Sweden.
Isak remains at the forefront of the gossip pages as the fall out from his record-breaking Premier League move from Newcastle United to Liverpool rolls on.
The former Real Sociedad star completed a deadline day £125m move to Merseyside, after weeks of tense transfer talks, as the defending champions broke the transfer record for a second time this summer.
The focus now turns to when Isak will make his debut for Liverpool, with Arne Slot side back in action at Burnley on September 14, before their UEFA Champions League campaign kicks off against Atletico Madrid three days later.
With the 26-year-old not featuring at all for Newcastle in preseason, or in their opening three games of the new campaign, he will take time to get up to speed.

No match action since May means Sweden will take a cautious approach over his involvement in the coming days after head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson claimed there was no chance he will play 90 minutes.
"We will not do stupid things with him," he told Swedish outlet Fotboll Skanalen, as per Sport Witness.
"He's not had a preseason with lots of training and matches. He can't play 90 minutes. We have a plan and he's smiling and happy to be here.
"We always have very good communication with the clubs. I have spoken to their manager. Our doctor has spoken to their doctor. Our physio Ben (Rosen) has spoken to their physio.

"I'm happy he's here. It doesn’t matter where the players play as long as they play and are happy...he's extremely happy."
Sweden take on Slovenia in Bratislava on September 5 before a trip to Kosovo three days later, but Isak is unlikely to start either game, with Viktor Gyokeres and Anthony Elanga ahead of him in terms of sharpness.
He could feature off the bench in both matches and Liverpool fans will be watching closely ahead of his start to life at Anfield.
