With the international break now over, Liverpool are gearing up for a Premier League return at Burnley on September 14.
Arne Slot's defending champions have enjoyed a perfect start to the 2025/26 season with three wins from three league games so far including victory over title rivals Arsenal last time out.
Slot will be checking on his stars as they return to Merseyside with the overall picture looking positive in terms of injury concerns.
Alexander Isak played 18 minutes off the bench for Sweden, as the 25-year-old continues to build up his fitness, following a transfer record-breaking move to Anfield on deadline day.
Isak is expected to start on the bench at Turf Moor, with Slot going with an unchanged attack, despite a long trip back for Mohamed Salah.
Salah has registered a goal and an assist in top-flight action this season alongside new signings Hugo Ekitike and Florian Wirtz.

The 33-year-old started both of Egypt's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, scoring in a 2-0 home win over Ethiopia, followed by a 0-0 draw in Burkina Faso.
That means Egypt need just one win from their final two qualifiers in October, with a home double header against Djibouti and Equatorial Guinea, and a call on Salah's involvement will be made next month.

However, Liverpool's immediate focus is getting Salah back to the UK with a two-day window before the Burnley game, and their No.11 is already back on Merseyside.
According to reports from WinWin, Salah flew directly from Burkina Faso to the UK on a private jet, rather than returning to Cairo with his Egypt teammates.
He is expected to train ahead of the Burnley clash, but with an extra day of rest scheduled, alongside Alisson and Alexis Mac Allister who have returned from Brazil and Argentina duty.
