Arne Slot's Liverpool injury headache has eased slightly over the international break.
Slot's charges head into the latest FIFA window following successive Premier League defeats, and a first Champions League loss at Galatasaray.
Slip ups against Crystal Palace and Chelsea - alongside defeat in Istanbul - has triggered questions aimed at Slot's tactics and some his new record-breaking stars.
16 first-team players were initially called up by national team bosses but Wataru Endo has already already withdrawn from Japan duty with a muscle issue.
Endo was due to captain Japan - who have already sealed qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup - in two friendly games against Paraguay and Brazil on October 10th and 14th.
The versatile star is not considered as a risk for Liverpool's EPL return at home to Manchester United on October 19.

Ibrahima Konate was the key concern for Slot, after being forced off 56 minutes in the defeat at Stamford Bridge, and he missed France's opening training session ahead of hosting Azerbaijan in Paris on October 10.

Kylian Mbappe also missed the session, but Didier Deschamps is unconcerned by the duo's fitness, as their game time will be managed with care.
"The vast majority of the players arrived tired. They arrive from a week with three matches played. I will have to spread out the playing time more than in September. But, they are all fit to play," he said.

Scotland captain Andy Robertson limped off at the final whistle last weekend, but the veteran defender issued a rallying message over leading the Tartan Army this week, up against Greece and Belarus.
"I can’t wait. It feels ages since we've been back here, especially for a meaningful game, a competitive game," he told the Scotland FA YouTube channel.
"Me and the boys just can’t wait to be back out in front of the fans and give them something to shout about."
