Liverpool have made a clear stance over the future of one of the club's current attacking players amid interest from abroad.
Turkish side Besiktas are keen to acquire Federico Chiesa from the Premier League club, with Super Lig teams still able to conduct transfer business up until September 12.
After an injury-affected first campaign for Liverpool, the Italian international was linked with a summer move away, with Serie A teams reportedly having been interested.
However, Chiesa chose to fight for his place and come off the bench to score a late winner for his side in the opening match of the Premier League season against Bournemouth.
He has since featured in every league game for The Reds this season.
Unfortunately, the forward had to be left out of Liverpool's 22-man squad for the league phase of the Champions League due to clubs being required to include eight homegrown players.

This means he will not be eligible to partake in upcoming big fixtures over the coming months against Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Marseille.
Liverpool keen to keep Chiesa

While Liverpool have deemed Chiesa's services as not necessary in Europe, the Liverpool Echo reports that the club still wants to hold onto the Italian.
This is despite Besiktas recently contacting officials at the club over a potential move for the player before the Turkish transfer window shuts.
Arne Slot is likely to want as many attacking options as possible in order for Liverpool to compete on all fronts this season
Considering Chiesa has been involved in all of Liverpool's league games so far, it is likely Slot sees a role for the 27-year-old in domestic fixtures.
