Arne Slot is heading into his second season in charge of Liverpool, who spent this summer focusing on new signings, major outgoings, and will be hoping to retain their Premier League title.
With Luis Diaz joining Bayern Munich and the Reds struggling to sign Alexander Isak, French reports linked them to Bradley Barcola.
The 22-year-old scored 21 goals and assisted 21 times across 64 matches last season, and played more minutes than any other PSG attacker.
But despite the links, Liverpool are no longer considering signing Barcola from the French club.
According to The Athletic, the club wants to prioritise the development of their own talent, Rio Ngumoha, and avoid blocking his path.

Ngumoha, a teenager from Liverpool’s academy, has impressed everyone with two goals and two assists in just four matches in pre-season.

Liverpool have already made significant spending
Liverpool have already spent over £250m [$334m] this summer.
Florian Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen for £116m [$155m], including add-ons which made him the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
Jeremie Frimpong signed to strengthen the right side of the defence, while Milos Kerkez arrived to provide cover and competition for Andy Robertson on the left.
Hugo Ekitike was brought in, and Liverpool may still consider signing Alexander Isak should an opportunity present itself
To balance the spending, Liverpool have sold Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Tyler Morton and Luis Diaz for a series of large fees.
Darwin Nunez is also expected to leave for Saudi Arabia in the coming days.
